They were working together behind both their respective paramours' backs and are still close even that their secret has not come out, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy's (Jason Thompson) relationship is going to start being questioned on The Young and the Restless.

After Billy woke up after his accident, he and Phyllis teamed up to snake the Passkey program from Newman, which wound up being a successful plan. However, it did come with a price for Billy, who lost Victoria (Amelia Heinle) since she couldn't get past the betrayal of his trying to take down her father and her family company yet again. Phyllis and Jack (Peter Bergman) also went through their own rough patch after the truth about what happened with Marco got out, but they have since reconciled.

However, the drama could still just be beginning for both couples, as Phyllis and Billy's close relationship gets questioned more when she lends him a helping hand ahead of the party to launch the Winters Abbott foundation by sewing a button on his pants—and Victoria arrives to speak with Billy at an inopportune time.

"Phyllis, I'm so sorry," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, March 21 episode. "I didn't know you were in the middle of a meeting."

Victoria will wind up walking in on the two as Billy is putting his freshly repaired pants back on, and her comment will be from her jumping to conclusions. And though Phyllis and Billy have not had a romantic moment yet, things could spark up after they head to Billy's place and get caught there during a storm, with no power.

If the two do eventually give in to some kind of connection that does exist between them, it could truly destroy everything they've worked towards and built up, as well as any glimmer of hope that Billy and Victoria could work things out again. In addition, Phyllis could be putting her marriage to Jack on the line, and without him truly still on her side, her plans to try and take Victor (Eric Braden) down for good could be completely jeopardized.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
