He has officially gone to trial for the hit and run that nearly killed Billy (Jason Thompson), and now, Noah's (Robert Adamson) fate will be decided on The Young and the Restless.

He had testimony in his favor even from those who were called by the prosecution, including Dylan (Steve Burton) and Billy himself, as well as testimony from Marisa (Sofia Pernas) with the intent of getting acquitted. The case was called into a recess after Noah then took the stand as well, and admitted that he hadn't come forward with what he did because of his grandfather, Victor (Eric Braden). He also admitted that he had fled the country on his family's recommendation as well, and never initially intended to leave.

Now, Judge Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) has made her decision, and the time has come to find out if she will rule fairly in Noah's favor, or if she will let the fact that she is finally no longer under the Newman thumb affect how she punishes him—the first time she can genuinely punish a Newman for a crime they committed.

"I've made my decision," she says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, March 15 episode. "Will the defendant please rise for sentencing?"

Now, his entire family will hold their breath as they wait to find out—though Moxley may surprise them all. Even though she warned them she may take out her years of frustrations about the Newmans on Noah, and she will find him guilty for the accident, she will be surprisingly lenient when it comes to his sentencing, and he will avoid jail time.

The news will be great for the Newman clan, as they will be happy that Noah doesn't have to go to jail, and even Billy will be happy for him since he didn't intend to press charges against him anyway. And after Noah gets excited he is a free man, he will decide to take the next step in his life and his plans to have a future with Marisa—by proposing to her.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
