'Finding Carter' Season 3 Renewal: Series Creator Responds To Petition, Could The Show Return? [VIDEO]
The petition for the Finding Carter renewal has received so much buzz that the series creator had something to say about it.
On Tuesday, Emily Silver took to her Twitter page to post a link with the petition to help bring the MTV series back for a renewal. With more than 9,000 signatures to date, Silver expressed her gratitude even though she doesn't know if there's hope to bring the show back or not.
The show had the misfortune of being canceled after only two seasons. This upset a lot of fans mainly because there were plenty more storylines that could've been explored, one of them including Max going to jail following Jared's murder.
Alex Saxon, who played Max, previously opened up with TV Insider on how this would've changed his character as he goes through something so frightening.
"I think there's a lot to be explored about what would happen if Max went to jail and went where his dad has spent much of Max's life; how he would regress and how he would change," Saxon said. "I'd like to think part of why Max is so empathetic to everybody around him and conscious of taking care of people and not hurting anybody is because he knows the evil, the darkness, that's out there."
The actor then revealed how this was going to affect Taylor.
"She obviously doesn't want him to go to jail and have his life shattered anymore," Saxon said. "She's also relatively rational and knows right from wrong. I think. There's probably a part of her that knows that was the right thing to do."
