'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Series Snags Renewal! What Does Season 8 Hold For Callen & Co? [VIDEO]
NCIS: Los Angeles Office of Special Projects won't be forced to shutter its doors anytime soon.
The Monday night drama saw its ratings slip slightly this year, but the little dip in viewers hasn't hurt the series one bit. CBS announced it's renewals on Friday, and NCIS: LA was lucky enough to snag an eighth season!

The good news comes less than 24 hours after filming wrapped on the season 7 finale. While the cast has yet to react to the renewal on Twitter, we know Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks) is certainly enjoying the first day of his summer hiatus.

Currently, NCIS: LA is juggling plenty of plot points that could carry over into the fall run. Sam's (LL Cool J) family is still in danger from Jada's brother, Deeks and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) have a proposal in their future, the Ops meerkats are closer than ever, and while Callen (Chris O'Donnell) finally met his father and learned his name, his story of discovery is far from over.
"While he's now discovered his identity, Callen's odyssey isn't over," series creator Shane Brennan told Entertainment Weekly. "In many ways, it's just beginning."
Before NCIS: LA fans can start worrying about next season, however, Callen and Co. must make it through the next five episodes. Check out what's next for the agents this week during "Seoul Man" (see video below).
NCIS: LA airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
