Fans who will want to get answers behind some of jaw-dropping moments set to take place during Game of Thrones' upcoming sixth season will be able to get more behind-the-scenes knowledge thanks to a new after-show special titled After The Thrones.

According to a press release from HBO, the new weekly show will debut this month beginning with the season premiere on April 24, and will take a "lively, humorous and sophisticated look" at the show.

Hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan from The Ringer, the show will be available on Mondays on HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand, with an eventual debut on the main HBO channel. It is the first new show to come from HBO's partnership with Bill Simmons.

The press release reveals that the show will recap the latest episode, explaining everything that happened, and it will "explore the complicated politics and history" of the show, while "offering absurd and not-so-absurd theories" about future episodes.

The new show comes as the show officially eclipses George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series entirely for the first time, after the next book in the series, Winds of Winter, was delayed. There has also been an increased amount of speculation over what would occur in the new season due to the jaw-dropping season five finale, which saw what appeared to be the shocking murder of fan favorite character Jon Snow (Kit Harington). And though fans are still positive his character will somehow be resurrected in the new season, Harington still maintains he will only be seen on the show as a corpse.

He even reiterated his stance while appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, saying he was certainly dead on the new season—though he did reveal that his character would not become a White Walker.

Other big moments expected to unfold in the new season are more visions with the returned Bran Stark (Isaac Hampstead-Wright), who is allegedly going to provide more answers about some of the burning questions concerning the show, as well as Margeary's (Natalie Dormer) trial by the Faith Militant, and Cersei's (Lena Headey) planned revenge for what they did to her in season five.

Game of Thrones season six premieres Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
