Girl Meets World will keep the life lessons flowing through season 3, but there's a few topics they definitely won't be touching on.

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) are headed to High School, and they will have to dealing with a whole host of new issues when they leave John Quincy Adams behind. Unlike Boy Meets World, however, the spinoff's position of Disney Channel will mean there are some after-school specials that Cory's daughter will just have to steer clear of.

"As long as this show runs on Disney Channel, we want to honor the people who invited us to play at their house. They've been very good to us, and they have let us push the envelope about as much as they have," showrunner Michael Jacobs told The Wrap about underage drinking and sex storylines. "We will tackle heavier subjects, and we will explore them, but we will also honor the fact that our demographic starts at 6 years old."

"Girl Meets Jexica," which will air as episode 3, will dive into the issue of social media. When one of the cast creates a fake online person, the teens will learn that masquerading as someone else might not be the key to ninth-grade popularity.

"What we're trying to do is give you very intriguing and compelling episodes, but never breaking the thread of truth," Jacobs explained. "Yes, this honestly happens in high school. I think high school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately - if you do it right - wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life."
