Mimi Faust has clearly been up to plenty between seasons four and five of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. And now that the show has returned, she explained what she was really doing while the show was on hiatus.

She caught up with her good friend Ariane in a deleted scene of the series’ fifth season premiere Monday. She told Ariane she went to Los Angeles to visit Stevie J, who asked her to relocate out there with him and his wife, Joseline Hernandez.

Still, leaving L.A. was “heartbreaking,” as Faust and Stevie J’s daughter, Eva, wanted to stay on the West Coast.

As for Hernandez, Faust said, “She was around… I need her to know that you got [Stevie]…It’s all you.”

Faust probably had no problem letting Stevie J go now that she has moved on herself—with a woman.

“I am so happy,” she said. “It’s happening…[The sex life] is absolutely [amazing]. The only people that know about my relationship is Eva and yourself. What I am going to do though because I’m so tired of keeping this to myself, Chris’ birthday is coming up… So I’m going to have a birthday party to introduce Chris to everyone.”

And that she definitely did. Faust’s co-stars were shocked when she unveiled Chris to Rasheeda, Tammy Rivera, Jessica Dime and more.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8/7c on VH1.

Be sure to keep up with the latest on the cast members.
