The '90s are staging a comeback, pure and simple. Next on the nostalgia hit parade - a Tales from the Crypt revival!

Hollywood is basking an in age of reboots and revivals, mostly courtesy of the Internet's streaming giants. Now, TNT is ready to get in on the action, and they've partnered with the decade's most notorious twist master to do so. After luring viewers into the deadly town of Wayward Pines, M. Night Shyamalan will send chills down your spin with a brand new Crypt Keeper.

Announced back in January, the revival officially found a home with TNT on Thursday. The spooker will join the network's thriller line up alongside upcoming newbies Time of Death and Creatures.

"I'm really thrilled about the way this horror block is coming together with the addition of Time of Death and Creatures," Shyamalan said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "That such a beloved property like Tales from the Crypt is launching our evening makes it an even more unique and exciting opportunity. Across the board, the level of talent has been very inspiring."

While Tales from the Crypt will ultimately find new fans in the teenage demo, viewers in their 20s and 30s will undoubtedly tune in to see how Shyamalan will reimaging the old HBO drama.

Currently, television is going reboot/revival/spinoff crazy. Every network form NBC to ABC to Nickelodeon is getting in on the action by pulling new material from films and series that came over the airwaves anytime in the last four decades. The X-Files revival delighted fans with the return of Mulder and Scully while Fuller House and Girl Meets World brought an entirely new generation into the storyline. Coming up, '90s kids will be treated to more Legends of the Hidden Temple and Hey Arnold as those from the age of hair bands and leggings delight in another batch of DuckTales and Amazing Stories.
