Doug Flutie may seem like the obvious next boot on Dancing With the Stars, but there's always the potential for a shocking elimination.

It's Switch-Up Week on Dancing With the Stars, which involves the celebrities performing with a different pro partner for a week. You can find details on the Switch-Up pairings in our previous report.

History suggests that none of the celebrities will be eliminated in the upcoming episode; since the Switch-Up twist began in season 17, the show has not eliminated anyone on that week.

However, if things change for this season, there is still a discussion to be had for who's on the chopping block.

Flutie and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, have narrowly survived the first three eliminations of the season, despite having the lowest average score among any of the remaining celebs. They were among the Bottom 3 during the first elimination and they were one of the last couples to be called safe in the second elimination.

Flutie and Smirnoff scored a measly 24 out of 40 in the most recent show, so they'll need to make up a lot of points from America's vote.

But there are also other couples that may be in danger sooner rather than later. Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe have been last to be called safe for the past two weeks, and their most recent score (27 out of 40) was the second lowest of the night.

Then there's Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess, Kim Fields and Sasha Farber and Von Miller and Witney Carson, who have all done well so far but have not achieved high enough scores to truly be invincible.

The top scoring couples so far, who should be here for a while, are Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy, Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd, Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas and Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold. They would need to really disappoint in the public vote to not make it further in the competition.
