Sarah Miller was the latest Ink Master contestant to go home- was she surprised or what?!

On Saturday, Carter Matt released an interview with the tattoo artist who opened up on how she didn't expect to be the one to leave the competition next. But due to the type of work she put in, it's pretty clear that she's proud of what she did.

"I actually was extremely shocked that I was eventually the one they settled on to be sent home," Miller said. "As a portrait artist I could see my tattoo wasn't necessarily the worst. The technique I did on the tattoo didn't translate well when the picture was taken immediately after of the tattoo. I have a habit for tattooing for longevity not just to take a picture."

Miller then dished on how she felt with the judges being critical on her before, and unfortunately, she's still not really sure why that happened.

"I'm honestly kind of baffled," she said. "If I were to guess it was how I performed on Sirens of Ink where I dominated every challenge. I came out of the gate swinging. I don't really understand why they pushed so hard. There was no explanation given to me."

Despite how it ended, Miller said she enjoyed the twist of having eight new contestants on the series competing with eight former contestants.

"I thought it was interesting. Not like an all stars season or anything," she said. "I didn't really like the way one person was brought back every week though. The people who lived in the house longer had made alliances and when you walked in you felt like they didn't even want you there. It was like a shark tank."

Ink Master airs on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
