Even sociopaths fall in love, or at least they do on The Flash.

Hunter Zolomon (Teddy Sears) donned his demonic claws once more during "Versus Zoom," and by time he headed back through the breach, Zoom had Barry's (Grant Gustin) speed and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) in his possession. It was a dark say for the STAR Labs team.

Zoom, however, is in his glory.

"Of course, he gets the girl by any means necessary," Sears told Entertainment Weekly. "She's not a trophy; she really is someone he believes that he loves and wants to have with him."

The serial killer shouldn't crow quite yet, however. There's one major flaw in Zoom's plan, and it's one he won't be able to wrap his twisted little mind around. Caitlin fell in love with the villain while he masqueraded as Jay Garrick, but now that she's seen his true colors, there is zero chance she'll reciprocate those feelings.

"After the reveal, she is repulsed by him. She wants nothing to do with him," Sears explained. "Shockingly, Hunter doesn't quite understand why, which is also fun. 'What do you mean?' He's a bit misguided, and he's very broken."

Well, it looks like Zoom has a new prisoner for his lair. After being kidnapped by a giant, telepathic gorilla, the Doc has at least a little experience with insane captors.

If she can't immediately get back to Earth-1, perhaps Caitlin will have a chance to suss out the truth behind the Man in the Iron Mask or find what ever happened to Killer Frost.

Next time on The Flash, STAR Labs will have to split their attention as Griffin Grey (Haig Sutherland) enters the picture.

"A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey mistakes Harry (Tom Cavanagh) for Earth-1 Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition," The CW teased. "Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin's location, Barry asks Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) to help. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) corners Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about The Flash."
