'Castle' Season 8 News: Molly Quinn Says Show Will Be 'Very Different' After Stana Katic Exit [VIDEO]
Castle cast member Molly Quinn has offered her thoughts on Stana Katic and Tamala Jones' sudden exit from the show.
Quinn, who plays Alexis on Castle, tweeted that she was "heartbroken" over the news of ABC moving forward with the series without Katic (who plays Beckett) and Jones (Lanie). She would later promise that star Nathan Fillion (Castle) would still "bring all of you a damn fine show," even without Katic or Jones.
One follower tweeted that there's no Castle without Beckett, which Quinn corrected:

Many fans (and the show's cast members) have responded to Jones and especially Katic's departure from the long-running procedural. Fillion sent out a statement via Twitter:
The news was revealed on Monday that ABC was not bringing Katic or Jones back for a potential season 9 of Castle. ABC issued the following statement:
"Kate Beckett has been a beloved character on our hit series Castle for the past eight years. We are grateful for Stana Katic's talent and dedication to the series and we hope to continue our relationship, Tamala Jones has also been an integral part of the series and we are grateful she was a part of Castle."
Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
