'Bloodline' Season 2 Release: Meg & Sally's Relationship 'Completely Fractured' In New Episodes [VIDEO]
The Rayburn family will be a mess in the upcoming second season of Netflix's Bloodline.

In the wake of Danny's (Ben Mendelsohn) death, the Rayburn family will be even more paranoid and dysfunctional than ever before.
Cast members Linda Cardellini (who plays Meg) and Sissy Spacek (Sally) spoke with PopSugar recently about the relationship between their characters and what's next for the Rayburn family in season 2.
"It is about the fallout of what happens, and the disintegration of the relationships as we know it, in my opinion," Cardellini said. "I think Meg tries to carry on and have a different life, and compartmentalize what happened, and she ends up not talking to her mom as much. [Meg and Sally's] relationship is completely fractured. It's hard to look her in the eye, it's hard to talk to her. I'm forced into this, sort of, alliance with my brothers, and that implodes as well. It's a lot of loneliness because of it, I think."
Meanwhile, Sally is going to be in a very lonely state of mind, having now lost her husband, Robert (Sam Shepard) and her son, Danny. Plus, her other children, like Meg, are growing distant in the wake of the big incident with Danny.
"Sally is grieving her husband and grieving her son, and just assumes that that's what's happening with them, and she's happy for Meg's success and getting this big job in New York, but misses her," Spacek said. "Sally does not realize yet. She thinks everything is horrible like this just because people in their lives that they loved, died. Everything really is falling apart, and she has no friends, she's trying to run the business, she's distanced from her children . . . she's lonesome and sad."
Danny's son, Nolan (Owen Teague), will also complicate things as he enters into the Rayburn orbit. Cardellini teased that the arrival of Nolan will help uncover even more hidden secrets from the family's past. Spacek added Sally is "wary" of him at first, though ultimately he is a "gift from heaven."
Bloodline season 2 is scheduled to drop on Friday, May 27 on Netflix.
