They now know that Stefano wasn't the one responsible for Bo's kidnapping and death, but weren't sure his real killer could be brought to justice, but after a little digging, Rafe (Galen Gering) could wind up giving Hope (Kristian Alfonso) the proof she needs of Deimos's (Vincent Irizarry) wrongdoing on Days of Our Lives.

After a mystery caller kept informing Hope that she should look into Deimos, she went to confront him, and was stunned when he confessed to being the one behind Bo's kidnapping, which then led to his brain tumor being left untreated, and his death mere days after his escape and return to Salem. Hope had been so convinced that Stefano was behind the unfortunate turn of events that she killed him in revenge, and hearing that she had gone after the wrong man stunned her. Unfortunately she was unable to take legal action against him because he managed to point out that he had covered his tracks well--and she could never find a way to prove his culpability. And after covering up Stefano's murder, she also knew she couldn't kill Deimos as well without someone beginning to get suspicious that she was up to no good.

However, Rafe has been determined to help Hope in every way he possibly can, and though she has already agreed to give him a chance and go on a date with him, he will keep investigating every angle he can think of to try and further prove to her just how much he cares. And though the search initially seems futile, he will eventually discover a small piece of evidence that could lead them in the right direction.

What Deimos didn't cover up was his decision to invest some money into a company that was making payments to Dr. Malcolm, who was the one actually orchestrating Bo's torture. And with that clue now in their possession, it could start becoming easier for Hope and Rafe to put together a case that could give them the right incentive to take action against Deimos.
