They both know that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) is capable of doing anything and will likely go to all kinds of extremes to get his planned revenge on Victor (John Aniston) for framing him for Helena's murder 30 years ago, and now, Victor will consider seeing if Nicole (Arianne Zucker) could be the key he needs to regain the upper-hand on Days of Our Lives.

Nicole is a doppelganger for Helena, whom Deimos was obsessed with, and now that Deimos has drugged Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), which led to her accident that caused her to fall down the stairs and lose her ability to walk, and nearly let Victor die when he had a heart attack in front of him, it's become clear that he's willing to do whatever he can to get payback for his extensive prison sentence for the crime he didn't commit.

Knowing that Deimos is likely nowhere near done with messing with his loved ones and the life he built for himself in Salem, and knowing he has the power to since he signed all of his money and property and businesses over to him, Victor will then decide to do the only thing he can think of when it comes to fighting his worst enemy-use Nicole.

After Nicole goes to visit him in his hospital room on Maggie's request, Victor will make a request of Nicole in order to find a way to turn things around on Deimos. He knows that because of her resemblance to Helena, she could be a potential weakness for Deimos-and if they can successfully dupe him into thinking he is, in a way, getting Helena back, they could successfully get Victor's stuff back.

At first, Nicole, may be appalled at the suggestion because of the danger it could pose for her. However, when Victor reminds her of how Deimos is the reason sweet Maggie can no longer walk-and may never have that ability again, Nicole will decide to team up with him officially to take down the man who made her almost mother-in-law suffer.
