She's started realizing that the little boy she believed was her son may not be hers after all, and after figuring out that he may be the baby Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) thought they lost, Sharon (Sharon Case) will take the next step to make sure her suspicions are right on The Young and the Restless.

She believed Sully was her son after Dr. Anderson told her she had given birth to him during her time at Fairview, where she was heavily drugged and doesn't remember even being pregnant, let alone giving birth. As she and Sage have continued investigating what happened following both of them having similarly eerie dreams about a baby, more evidence has surfaced that she wasn't really pregnant at all--and after Patty (Stacy Haiduk) confirmed it to her, Sharon began to wonder if Sully really was her son.

Then, after Sage recounted her visit with the nurse who both handed Sully to Sharon and told Sage that Christian had died, and admitted that the nurse was definitely hiding something and only seemed remorseful about Sage losing Christian, and not David, Sharon began to wonder if Sully was actually Christian. Now, after Sage leaves, Sharon will pick up the drinking glass she left behind and decide to do what needs to be done--even though she is hoping her hunch is wrong.

"I need a test done," she says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, April 26 episode. "It's a DNA test."

Now, Sharon will be forced to wait as she determines once and for all what might have happened, even though the truth could just give her a major setback. What neither she nor Sage knew at the time was that Dr. Anderson had wanted revenge on Nick for what happened when they were in high school, and had gotten it by telling him and his wife that their son was dead, and then giving the baby to Sharon to raise as her own. But now, after Sharon gets the results, she will finally learn the truth-and then she will need to decide whether or not she will actually do the right thing.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
