Surprise, surprise; Agents of SHIELD's Phil Coulson is batting for Team Cap.

Spoiler Alert

If you've seen Captain America: Civil War, you know that, despite Steve's protestations, the Sokovia Accords will go into effect before the credits roll. While the film only focuses on reining in the Avengers, the document will also have a bit of legalize regarding SHIELD's Inhumans. Coulson technically has to register the agency's secret weapons, but, with Hive running rampant, the Director has bigger fish to fry.

General Talbot and his mustache will pay Coulson a visit during this Tuesday's "Emancipation," and their little chit chat will go about as well as you'd think. Check out the clip below:

Chloe Bennet (Daisy) teased Civil War's affect on the MCU last month.

"Daisy is an Inhuman and she does have powers and she's also in S.H.I.E.L.D., and I think that's exactly what they're dealing with in the movie, so we've been kind of dealing with it for a while now," the actress told Comic Book Resources. "It will impact the show, but I think the show's already been touching base with all those interesting and very relevant themes of, 'Can the government tell a group of people -- that they're not a part of -- what they can or cannot do?' and where the line is drawn and what that means."

Despite Daisy's Inhuman status, Bennet can see both sides of the argument. As the Avengers learned, the detractors and the supporters both have valid - and persuasive - arguments.

"It's a really tough argument, and I'm not sure there's actually a right or wrong answer," Bennet teased.

Do you think Coulson will ultimately cave? Sound off in the poll below!

Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
