Ever since One Punch Man became a massive hit last year, anime fans all over the world have begun speculating just how well the titular hero would match up against arguably the most overpowered anime character of all time, Dragon Ball's Son Goku.

Indeed, considering the fact that Goku is ridiculously strong, the premise of a fight against One Punch Man's Saitama is one thing that is definitely interesting for anime fans.

Of course, as the One Punch Man anime progressed, these power comparisons emerged more and more on the internet, ultimately culminating in long debates among anime fans about which character really is stronger.

Until today, fan forums are still alight with discussions about a possible match between Saitama and Goku, two characters who are arguably created with just a bit of hyperbole when it comes to sheer power. Thus, with the demand definitely there, it would actually be a great idea for Madhouse or Toei Animation, the studios producing One Punch Man and Dragon Ball Super, to explore the possibility of a short crossover between the two characters.

After all, if the internet is any indication, the support and interest for a possible crossover is definitely there. The fact that the two characters have personalities which would match very well on the screen would add to the allure of a possible crossover as well.

Anime is no stranger to bold crossovers. Just recently, a Dragon Ball x One Piece x Toriko crossover was released to much success. Despite the crossover only lasting for about an hour, fans were quick to commend the project for taking steps into bringing anime's most endearing protagonists together on the same screen.

With regards to a One Punch Man and Dragon Ball crossover, the demand for the anime is already certain. Considering the popularity of both series, even if the two characters don't fight at all, fans would surely support the project, just to see the two characters share some screen time. Of course, if a match between Goku and Saitama were to be featured as well, the crossover would be much more awesome.

Unfortunately, neither Madhouse not Toei has responded to the call of fans about a possible crossover. Despite this, however, both production studios are fully aware of the interest surrounding the project. Thus, it would not be surprising at all if either company produces a short crossover soon.

One Punch Man has been a very big hit since the anime was released October 2015. With the immense success of the first season, the anime's producers are rumored to be working overtime in order to create a second season that would be a worthy successor to the anime's acclaimed Season 1.
