One of the stars of Banshee is expressing his grief over the fact that the series has ran its course.

On Friday, Hoon Lee who played Job on the Cinemax drama, took to his Twitter page to show everyone his realization that Fridays won't be the same without the show. He was about to say that another episode was going to air in a couple of hours only to come to the conclusion that that's not happening.

The final episode aired more than a week ago, but the action will live on forever. In a previous interview with Nerd Core Movement, co-creator Jonathan Tropper opened up on finishing the series and how he felt this was a decent time to let it go.

"I don't want to be around when our fans turn on us, you know?" Tropper said. "We have a very local and very rabid fan base. We've pleased them for four seasons and the neurotic writer in me is always worried that we are not going to be able to keep it up. In this case I just felt the story was coming to an end and everything we did to keep it going would kind of feel a little contrived and people would see through that."

And despite Lucas and Carrie being each other's ideal match, a happy ending wasn't exactly set in stone for these characters.

"After four seasons you grow to love them and you forget they've done some really bad things," Tropper said. "For Lucas and Carrie to end up together they are basically building their happiness on the foundation of the bodies of Gordon and Siobhan and that just didn't sit right with me. It just felt like they had done too much damage to get to ride off into the sunset together."
