The Flash will turn its character's lives upside down in season 3, and Danielle Panabaker couldn't be more excited.

Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) quest to save his mother erased the Central City we've come to know and love, leaving a distinctly different alternate reality in its place. As the Flashpoint inspired events unravel this fall, viewers should prepare to see the STAR Labs team in an entirely different fashion.

Panabaker doesn't know exactly what the future holds for Caitlin Snow, but she's itching to find out.

"I'm excited. I can't wait to see what happens with season 3 and where that means everyone is," the actress told Mashable UK. "Season 1 Barry disappeared in front of our eyes at the end of season 2, which was crazy...I don't know what that means for season 3. Do these people even know each other at all? What does that look like? It's going to be crazy."

One thing will do know for sure is that Mrs. Snow will enter into the picture later this year. Described by Killer Frost as a "frigid narcissist" by Caitlin as "cold as ice," this apparently delightful human will find a place in the new timeline, according to Entertainment Weekly. For Panabaker, that ticks of one box on her season 3 wish list.

"I would like to learn more about Caitlin's family," Panabaker mused. "Particularly her mom. I'd like to know more about her relationship with her mom."

Season 1 Barry has disappeared, but we know that another future version of Barry will eventually appear at the scene of his mother's murder. This is the one that has already lived through whatever mayhem the timeline reset will cause; the one that warned season 1 Barry away with a shake of his head. In other words, Team Flash will eventually put the world back to rights (check out both scenes below). For now, it's just a matter of figuring out what will go down before our hero has to revisit that terrible night once more.
