'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Evidence Against Finn Emerges [VIDEO]
An investigation into who may have been drugging patients to kill them has been ongoing at General Hospital, and new doctor Finn (Michael Easton) could find himself at the top of the list of suspects.
Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been looking into his past because she suspects there's something off about him, and she wants revenge for the fact that his arrival meant she was demoted from Chief of Staff, so that Monica (Leslie Charleson) could take the position back and actually hire Finn.
Since his arrival a series of events have started going on at the hospital which suggest someone has been doing something they shouldn't, with quantities of drugs going missing in the cabinet, as well as the mysterious deaths of two of Finn's patients while they were under his care. However, after the person who likely injected those patients with drugs to end their lives then attacked Lucas (Ryan Carnes) when he walked in on them trying to do the same to Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), it became a criminal investigation.
Obrecht has suspected Finn from the beginning, and has voiced her suspicions several times, but with no proof that he has done anything wrong. However, now she may stumble across something which could implicate him greatly in the attacks, and desperate tpo protect him, Monica could go to him and insist he try and find some way to either shut Obrecht down, or get ahead of whatever she may find by submitting to the background check he skipped when he was hired. Much to Monica's surprise though, he may instead refuse to submit to one.
"You need to do that," she says to Finn in a preview clip for the Wednesday, June 15 episode.
"Actually Dr. Quartermaine, I don't," he replies.
However, refusal to cooperate could only make him look more guilty, and give Dr. Obrecht's claims and attempts to find something on him which would not only get him fired, but probably succeed in hurting Monica's rep so she could become Chief of Staff again, may succeed.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
