'Suits' Season 6: Mike's Not Laughing But THIS Character Will 'Bring The Comedy', Patrick J Adams Explains [VIDEO]
Prison is no barrel of laughs, but that doesn't mean Suits will lose all its levity as Mike Ross heads behind bars.
For all intents and purposes, the future looks bleak for the denizens of Pearson Specter Litt. Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) arrest threw the firm into a downward spiral, but Harvey's (Gabriel Macht) attempts to claw his way back to the top will bring the humor.
"There isn't a lot of room for joking around when you're in prison, trying not to die," Adams told TV Line. "But the rest of the show has found a really good way to balance that out."
In fact, the chaos will give Louis (Rick Hoffman) a chance to get in a few good quips. After spending so much time grinding our teeth at the former antagonist, it will be nice to see Hoffman exercise his comedy chops.
"They need to rent out the offices to a bunch of financial whiz kids, so that [provides] a lot of opportunity for some funny stuff to come back in," Adams teased. "Louis has some great storylines, so he's bringing the comedy."
Mike, Harvey, Louis and the rest of Pearson Specter Litt will return to USA with "To Trouble."
"Mike transitions to prison life while Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Donna and Rachel deal with the fallout of Mike's plea deal and try to prevent what's left of PSL from collapsing," USA teased.
