'Making of the Mob' Watch Online: How To Live Stream Al Capone's Rise & Fall [VIDEO]
The second season of The Making of the Mob will premiere Monday night on AMC, centering on the rise and fall of notorious gangster Al Capone.
Docudrama The Making of the Mob returns with the premiere of another eight-episode season Monday. The season is subtitled Chicago delves into Capone's story as well as his successors, known as The Chicago Outfit.
"Spanning the better part of a century, the series begins with Capone's early days in New York and continues through his move to Chicago - to work with his childhood mentor in the underworld," AMC says in the plot synopsis. "When Prohibition hits, battles break out as the city's gangs rush to set up bootlegging operations and Capone decides to go up against his rivals. As he consolidates power, he achieves legendary status for his ruthless tactics and over-the-top lifestyle that attracts the wrath of President Herbert Hoover."
The series includes interviews from actors Vincent Pastore and Michael Madson, author and Capone expert Jonathan Eig and former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
"The history and spectacular personalities inside the American mafia provides a fascinating real life look at organized crime, and allows us to expand the story-telling beyond New York City," Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV, said in a statement. "Al Capone is one of the most notorious crime figures and 'The Making of The Mob: Chicago' showcases the canny criminal minds and brutish no-nonsense killers that will stop at nothing for power."
The Making of the Mob: Chicago airs Monday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
