Bloodline scored two Emmy nominations this year, and they just so happen to be the same two nominations the show received last year!

The 2016 Emmy nominations were released on Thursday and among all the shocks, surprises and snubs, one show remained consistent to the nominations it received in 2015. Bloodline's Kyle Chandler - who plays John Rayburn - received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Ben Mendelsohn, a.k.a. Danny Rayburn, received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

The nomination for Chandler makes sense considering he was given even more to do on Bloodline in season 2, but the Mendelsohn nomination is a surprise even to fans of the show. After all, his character died at the end of season 1 and was only seen as a ghost or in flashbacks in season 2, barely receiving much screentime at all. Regardless, Emmy voters seem to love him as an actor and gave him a second nomination.

Whether either of these men will win the Emmy remains a mystery that will remain unanswered until Emmy night on Sept. 18. Both categories are wide open for different possibilities.

Lead Actor also consists of Rami Malek from Mr. Robot, Bob Odenkirk from Better Call Saul, Matthew Rhys from The Americans, Liev Schreiber from Ray Donovan and Kevin Spacey from House of Cards. Meanwhile, Mendelsohn's competition in Supporting Actor includes Jonathan Banks from Better Call Saul, Peter Dinklage and Kit Harington from Game of Thrones, Michael Kelly from House of Cards and Jon Voight from Ray Donovan.

All of these shows seem to be more loved by the Academy than Bloodline, with The Americans, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones and House of Cards all getting into Outstanding Drama Series and Ray Donovan getting multiple nominations elsewhere. As such, it's probable that other shows' popularity will trump Chandler and Mendelsohn, but anything is possible at the Emmys.

The 2016 Primetime Emmys will air live Sunday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on ABC, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Meanwhile, Bloodline is slated to return for season 3 in 2017.
