They've been through situations where he was believed dead so many times, and have come back from their endless bouts with him, and now, but after believing him to be truly dead this time, Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and Michael (Chad Duell) will be stunned when Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) appears to come back once again on General Hospital.

They've reaffirmed their romance again following her return from Puerto Rico and are planning on raising her son with Carlos together. However, Sabrina was stunned when she opened the door to the Quartermaine Mansion-and saw Carlos standing there.

Now, she could be scared for her safety after her running off with him last time proved to be a less than ideal situation for her, where she was seperated from her son and almost killed. However, the man at the door, while he looks like Carlos, may act differently from the man she remembered-a criminal embroiled in the mob, who wasn't afraid to kill.

And as the man tries to explain himself when she lets him in, she could be shocked to learn that it isn't Carlos at all, but someone else. However, when Michael returns home and sees him standing there, he will immediately become protective of Sabrina and order the man to leave.

"Step away from her," he threatens in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 21 episode. "Now."

Michael will have a hard time believing that this man isn't the same person, and even if it winds up being that Carlos is actually still somehow alive (meaning he cheated death twice), it could raise other problems.

Everyone is waiting for Julian (William DeVry) to face charges for Carlos' murder, a crime he pinned on his wife, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and when she tried to prove her innocence by wearing a wire while he confessed, he turned on her, and tried to kill her, before she successfully stabbed him to save her own life. If Carlos is in fact alive after all, it could change the case against him, and allow Julian to potentially go free.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
