Any hope of a change in plans in the Big Brother 18 house seems to have dissipated, as one houseguest continues to have a cult-like level of control over the house.

Head of Household: Victor Arroyo

Nominees: Michelle Meyer and Zakiyah Everette

Other houseguests: Bridgette Dunning, Corey Brooks, James Huling, Natalie Negrotti, Nicole Franzel, Paul Abrahamian and Paulie Calafiore

The Veto ceremony was held on Monday in the Big Brother house and as expected, Paulie did not use his Veto to save either Michelle or Zakiyah. During the ceremony, however, there was a bit of intrigue as Michelle indicated in her speech that she wants to after a big target in the house if she stays and wins power. It's very evident based on Michelle's previous conversations that she is referring to Paulie, a.k.a. the house leader.

After the meeting, many houseguests were speculating about who she was talking about. Corey, James, Nicole and Victor had a discussion about what to do this week, but none of them voiced a strong opinion either way. Paulie later joined the discussion and they all conveniently agreed to go along with his plan and vote out Michelle.

Meanwhile, Paul felt hurt that his own desire to get out Zakiyah has been superseded by the plan to get out Michelle, especially considering he targeted Da'Vonne last week instead of his desired target, Bridgette. While there are seeds of mistrust forming within Paul, he kept going back to Paulie with pertinent information throughout the day regardless.

As of right now, Michelle will be going out the door on Thursday, likely by a unanimous vote. Things can always change, and Michelle could also have the Round Trip ticket that sends her right back into the house, but it's unclear how the dynamic might shift in either case. There seems to be some pent-up frustration with Paul and Victor in regards to Paulie and the others, but neither has lashed out. Could we see some betrayals in the upcoming double eviction? Only time will tell.

Big Brother 18 returns Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
