'Big Brother 18' Spoilers: Allison Grodner Suggests Da'Vonne Could Return To The Game [VIDEO]
Even though Da'Vonne Rogers was evicted last week from the Big Brother 18 house, she might have a chance of getting back in the house.
Da'Vonne was evicted by a vote of 6-2 last week on Big Brother 18 and many fans were hoping that she had the Round Trip ticket to go right back in the house. Unfortunately, this was not to be, as host Julie Chen revealed that she had a One-Way ticket.
While this makes Da'Vonne the first member of the jury, a new interview with Big Brother executive producer Allison Grodner suggests she may not be out of the game just yet.
A representative at Zap2It expressed sadness to Grodner at the Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday about Da'Vonne's eviction, to which the executive producer admitted she was also sad.
"She's our star. It's too bad, it really is," Grodner said, saying there was still a chance she could return.
"You never know what could happen. We've had a lot of opportunities, remember the round-trip ticket? There still might be ... who knows what could happen?" Grodner teased.
It's not clear if Grodner is suggesting there's another returnee twist in the works if the next two evictees don't have the Round Trip ticket or if she simply means we could see Da'Vonne on a future season of Big Brother.
Grodner also spoke about the recent developments in the house, with houseguests like Bridgette Dunning, Michelle Meyer and Natalie Negrotti taking the game into their own hands in an effort to flip the upcoming vote and dethrone Paulie Calafiore.
"They woke up, didn't they, the girls? This is a big turning point in this season," Grodner said. "Michelle and Bridgette - Bridgette came to play in the last 24 hours. We don't know where she was, but 24 hours ago, she woke up."
It's not clear why Grodner chose to leave out Natalie in this case, but either way, tonight is shaping up to be a huge moment for the season, and on a double eviction night, no less. With Bridgette, Michelle and Natalie having successfully convinced James, Paul and Victor to work with them to blindside Zakiyah (and by extension, Paulie), we could be in for some major fireworks.
Big Brother 18 airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
