There's a new HOH in the Big Brother 18 house and even if Thursday night's double eviction didn't go as many fans had hoped, there's still some great potential for this week.

Head of Household: Victor Arroyo

Other houseguests: Corey Brooks, James Huling, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, Nicole Franzel, Paul Abrahamian and Paulie Calafiore

When the live feeds returned Thursday night, mere minutes after Bridgette Dunning was evicted, Nicole was freaking out about Michelle's comments during her second eviction speech. She was stressed about her position in the game after Michelle called her a "snake" and tried to reassert her alliances with all the men in the house.

Paulie was clearly rattled about Zakiyah being voted out instead of Michelle during the first eviction, but he also bragged about all the places in the house they had sex. As such, it's not clear if Paulie is truly upset on a personal level that Zakiyah is gone or if it's just on a game level.

The HOH competition was played and when the feeds returned from being blacked out, it was revealed that Victor had won! Immediately after the competition, Paulie and Corey met up with Victor to discuss nominations. They all came to the agreement that Michelle should be targeted, with Natalie as the other nominee.

But mere minutes later, it was clear that Victor wouldn't be going along with this plan. Victor's closest ally, Paul, said that they still needed to target Paulie, Corey and Nicole, to which Victor was hesitant but ultimately agreed. Victor brought up the fact that Paulie is the one who "backdoored" him earlier in the season, using this as a primary reason to nominate him this week. Paul and Victor also agreed that Corey showed he's a strong competitor by winning both the HOH and POV in the double eviction, so he should be nominated alongside Paulie.

Paul got reassurances from James and Natalie that they were still on the same page. James and Natalie were both excited about sticking together and working to get out either Paulie or Corey. After this, Victor felt more comfortable having the numbers, and has essentially locked in these nominations.

Meanwhile, Paulie spent most of the night rattled, his thoughts unfocused. He continued his campaign against Natalie, repeatedly making fun of her chest and calling her a Jersey girl in a derogatory way. He also tried to suss out who knew about the plan to evict Zakiyah, with both James and Paul being his biggest question marks. Both tried to play it cool, but Paulie was clearly upset with James.

As of Friday morning, it looks like Victor will nominate Corey and Paulie for eviction. Nicole would be the replacement nominee, unless she wins Veto and takes Corey down or she happens to win the America's Care Package, which this week grants safety from eviction. But no matter what, one of Paulie or Corey will most likely be going home on Thursday.

Big Brother 18 airs another new episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
