He's considered to be the front-runner to star on the next season of The Bachelor, but another former contestant is trying to throw his name into the consideration pool, with the assertion that Luke Pell would be "too boring" to watch.

While starring on the current season of Bachelor In Paradise, Daniel Maguire, who was eliminated in week four of JoJo's season of The Bachelorette and gained notoriety because of his explaining his references to the Damn Daniel meme on night one, has officially declared that if he doesn't find love on his current show, he's be absolutely behind being the next star of the franchise.

"100 percent I'd become the Bachelor if I was asked, that is if I'm still single after this season, because I think I'm the most realistic regular guy out there," he said. "I think I'd make a great Bachelor...people want real, people want entertaining, people want me."

He also admitted that he thought fans would like him because of his honesty, and the fact that he finds himself to be a good catch.

"Most guys, they talk like how I would. Obviously, I'm a little more extreme, I joke around a little bit more, but that's why so many regular guys watch the show and love me," he continued. "They're like, 'Oh, my girlfriend got me to watch and I love you because you tell the truth, you tell it how it is, you speak what's on your mind. I think I'm a great catch as well, and that's just my personal opinion on it. Obviously, everyone has a different opinion on it. I'm not all fun and games and not all jokes. I have a serious side as well, an intellectual side as well."

However, while he has no hard feelings for Pell, he doesn't think he'd be a good pick for the show because it wouldn't be interesting to him-and he actually thinks the villain of his season, Chad Johnson (who was also eliminated in week 4) would be a better choice.

"[Luke] he's a great guy and everything, but you might as well put it on mute because that's how boring it is, you know?" He said. "I'd rather have Chad be the Bachelor, because at least it's going to be entertaining and real. He's not going to fall in love with every single right off the bat, he's not going to be like, 'Oh, she's perfect, she's perfect, and she's perfect.' At least he can have fun with it and what not."
