'Days of Our Lives' (DOOL) Spoilers: Victor Maintains His Innocence After Arrest For Tate's Kidnapping [VIDEO]
The news that baby Tate was found and is now home safe and sound should have been extraordinarily good news for the Kiriakis family, but not that Victor (John Aniston) has been brought in and arrested for the crime, things are more perilous than ever instead on Days of Our Lives.
When Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) found their son in Chicago, they discovered a discarded cell phone the woman who was holding him had left behind, with just one number programmed into it. That number belonged to none other than Victor, and after they got back to Salem, Victor was taken into custody for the crime.
Now, he is being questioned about what happened and why he took Tate and put his family through so much pain. However, Victor will swear he wasn't the person behind this and that he is clearly being framed, despite the overwhelming evidence that seems to have been stockpiled against him, as well as his known hatred for Theresa. It won't help his case either if Caroline (Peggy McCay) comes forward with her premonition he had been the one to set the whole thing up.
However, there are still some people on Victor's side, who do believe he was set up. Sonny (Freddie Smith) thinks Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) was the one who set up Victor, and will work with his father, Justin (Wally Kurth) to try and prove it. As they work to try and find Deimos' connection to the crime, Victor will be forced to remain in a jail cell since his claims he was framed won't be enough for the police to let him go.
Meanwhile, Deimos may have a connection to the kidnapping after all, as Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has overheard him on a phone call, discussing Victor's predicament, and she is now demanding answers about what he may have done to his brother as one last act of revenge for what happened years ago.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
