The search was initially to try and find Adam (Justin Hartley) after he escaped the prison van while headed back to jail, but now the hunt is also on for his missing wife, Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) and son Connor as well on The Young and the Restless.

After Victor (Eric Braden) helped Adam escape to make amends for putting him in jail for a crime he didn't commit in the first place, Adam and Chelsea were able to connect thanks to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Chelsea and Connor were able to leave the penthouse without being seen by the police via a secret passageway in her closet which would allow them to arrive in the apartment Adam used when he was posing as Gabriel. Afterwards, they were able to secretly meet up with Adam at the safe house cabin while they awaited their next move.

However, it didn't take long for Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to get suspicious about Chelsea's behaviors, and she figured out that they had escaped and alerted the police. Now, as an investigation begins to figure out how Chelsea and Connor got out, Chloe will worry that she won't ever see her only true friend in Genoa City again.

"If Chelsea's on the run with Adam..." Kevin (Greg Rikaart) says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, August 30 episode.

"Then I'm never going to see my friend again," Chloe replies.

It wont' take long however before Dylan discovers the secret passageway in the closet, and then becomes torn by whether he should do what's right because of his ethics as a cop, or if he should let Adam and Chelsea escape for good since everyone knows Adam was innocent.

As he tries to figure out the right move to make though, Chelsea will feel some guilt over the decision to cooperate with the escape plan, even though she wants to be with Adam, as she will wind up having a nightmare while sleeping next to him that Dylan quickly managed to find them and she is being taken into custody.

"You're both under arrest," Dream Dylan says in the clip, before ripping Chelsea out of the bed.

"Whoa, Dylan, what are you doing? Let her go!" Dream Adam shouts.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
