It's become clear that he and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have once again reignited their affair, but the confrontation Billy (Jason Thompson) has with his mother Jill (Jess Walton) about the situation could lead to the biggest consequences yet for him on The Young and the Restless.

Jill confronted Billy about once again sleeping with his brother's wife and encouraging her to stay away from Adam's memorial service despite knowing how much he had meant to Jack (Peter Bergmann), but as he defended himself and put her on blast for blackmailing Phyllis about the affair, she suddenly grasped at her chest and began crying out in pain. Now, as she continues to apparently struggle, Billy won't lift a finger to help her, and will even accuse her of faking what's going on.

"Nice try, maybe next time," he says in a preview clip for the Monday, September 12 episode, as Jill gasps in pain.

Colin (Tristan Rogers) will then show up and get Jill to the hospital, where she will learn she is just suffering from acid reflux, though she will claim that it was a stress related condition. Then, after Billy leaves, Colin will demand she finally tell him what she's been hiding and she will come clean about Billy and Phyllis having their affair.

Meanwhile, Phyllis is talking things through with Jack, and has now told him that the problems in their marriage do stem from the situation with Marco, which has made it difficult for her to be around him. And when Jack vows they can fix their marriage, she will decide once and for all that even though she does also love Billy, they need to end their affair for good so she doesn't hurt her husband anymore than she already has.

However, Colin isn't going to let the information he has now picked up simply rest, despite Jill's warning that he needs to keep quiet, and when he approaches Jack and offers him information about his wife for $1 million, Jack will begin getting suspicious about what could possibly be happening.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
