He's been awaiting his trial since he was arrested for murdering Carlos and attempting to murder his wife Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and now, Julian (William DeVry) will make a shocking decision about his presumed fate on General Hospital.

Believing he has no way to escape going to prison for the rest of his life for his crimes, since no one except his sister is on his side, Julian will make a demand to change his plea-and will request to plead guilty so he can avoid a trial all together.

"I want to plead guilty," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, September 14 episode.

Meanwhile, everyone else is also preparing for his trial as well, with more confidence than ever that he's going to pay and be gone for good. For Alexis, it will be the end of a chapter in her life she'd rather forget, where she made the stupid mistake of trusting he had left the mob, and her decision to defend him every time she was confronted with new evidence that he was lying to her, until it would be where he nearly killed her. Now, she is ready to go to the trial so Julian can finally face his crimes, and the fate he will have for the rest of his life.

"It's going to be the beginning of the end for him," she says to Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) in the clip.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) will also be looking forward to the trial, since it will mean Sonny's biggest enemy and competitor in town will finally be behind bars and won't be able to have influence anywhere any longer. In addition, his being convicted will finally give them peace over Duke's murder as well, and Carly will express her happiness to Sonny that the chapter will be over.

"That man is going to prison, and we are finally going to get our lives back," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
