She had hoped that she might be able to convince her husband to give their marriage one more chance, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will quickly learn that Jack (Peter Bergmann) only wants a divorce, and he wants one as quickly as he can get it on The Young and the Restless.

Phyllis is being released from the hospital following her fall down the stairs, which led to speculation Jack had hurt her, something that wasn't true. And when Michael (Christian LeBlanc) goes to see her and let her know that Jack's lawyer is offering an impressive settlement in the divorce that she should consider taking, she will flat out refuse, because the only thing she wants is Jack.

"I don't want Jack's money," she says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, September 28 episode. "I just want my husband back."

However, Jack appears to truly have no interest in reconciling with her after her affair with Billy (Jason Thompson), and that sentiment is something his sister Ashley (Eileen Davidson) agrees with. However, knowing he and Phyllis never signed a prenup, she will be worried that her brother won't be able to get the divorce as quickly as he wants.

"You don't even have a prenup," Ashley says in the clip. "This divorce could drag on for months."

Meanwhile, after Phyllis is released from the hospital and returns to the house, she will see Jack and once again make a plea for them to try and work through their problems so they can repair their marriage. But Jack won't hear of it, and will instead officially kick Phyllis out, pack up her belongings and take back her key.

Afterwards, a devastated Phyllis will reflect on how her indiscretion with Billy cost her her marriage, her job, and her home, and when Michael returns and encourages her to take the settlement so she doesn't have to suffer any longer, Phyllis will once again refuse and put new terms on it. If she can't have Jack back, then she doesn't want any money-but she does want to be reinstated at Jabot.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
