She dropped the bombshell on them about her daughter Charlotte, who DNA proved was Nathan's (Ryan Paevey) daughter, but now, he, Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will work to find out just how much of Claudette's (Bree Williamson) story about trying to escape for a dangerous man is truth on General Hospital.

Claudette claimed she was keeping her daughter hidden away elsewhere to protect her because a man she had been involved with was dangerous, and had threatened to kill both her and her daughter when she tried to get away. She also maintained that the situation was why she sought out Nathan in Port Charles. But after claiming the man was none other than Valentin Cassadine, who Nathan knew had been arrested after killing Nikolas and trying to kidnap and kill Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel), both he and Maxie will decide to look into her story to see how legitimate it might actually be.

"If Claudette is lying, we all need to know," Maxie says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, October 4 episode.

Meanwhile, Griffin will also begin looking into the story as well, since he was also dragged into the DNA debacle about her daughter when she told him that he too could potentially be Charlotte's father, and was briefly worried that a daughter of his could be in danger. And though he no longer has any obligation to hear Claudette out at all, he will meet up with her for the sake of making sure a child isn't harmed, by demanding she give him all the details she can about who she is running away from.

"Tell me all about this man that you've been trying to get away from," he says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
