‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers & Air Date: Gendry to return; Daenerys, Jon Snow to finally meet?
The production and cast of HBO's "Game of Thrones" are now busy filming the episodes for Season 7. While fans wait, there are a lot of rumors and news on the show's plot and characters.
Inquisitr reported that sources claim that they saw Joe Dempsie on the set of the show in Spain. Dempsie plays the role of Gendry who fans have not seen since Season 3. Last September, Dempsie was photographed in the Belfast airport prompting many to think that he may be returning to the show.
Talking to the Digital Spy, Dempsie said that he would love to return to the show for Season 7. He explained that there are still a lot of unanswered questions about his character and he also wants to put an end on the memes that have been circulating online.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that there is a huge possibility that Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) might finally meet in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. A Spanish fan site named Los Siete Reinos revealed that the cast and crew are now shooting in different locations like Itzurun in Zumaia, Muriola in Barrika and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in Bermeo.
The site believes that these locations will be the Dragonstone which is an ancient city that is home to the Targaryens. There are also reported that Harrington will fly out to Basque in the coming weeks. This led to the speculation that Jon Snow and Daenerys will finally meet in Season 7.
Aside from this historical meeting, there will also be new allegiances and reunions to occur in Season 7. Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays the role of Bran Stark, was recently spotted sharing a trailer with Maisie Williams who plays the role of Arya Stark. This sparked a lot of speculations that Arya and Bran will cross paths in Season 7.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to air on HBO sometime in April 2017.
