'The Voice' Season 11: Which Team Miley Cyrus Artists Will Advance To Live Shows? [POLL, VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus has a unique group of artist this season on The Voice, but only three will be able to advance to the live shows.
It wasn't hard to imagine that Cyrus would end up with the most quirky, bold group of artists of the four coaches this season. From soulful belters to indie girls with a flair for fashion, each of Cyrus' five remaining artists have something special to offer The Voice stage.
Unfortunately, only three of the five will advance beyond the live playoffs scheduled for Monday. Two will advance from the public vote while the third will be chosen by Cyrus, with the other two going home. So who you think will advance? Let's break down each artist on Team Miley.
Ali Caldwell
Ali's sultry confidence has been present from her Blind Audition, in which she covered Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman". She has shown a huge amount of passion with each performance so far, complete with theatrical diva movements and a seemingly unstoppable vocal range. She is the most powerful vocalist on Cyrus' team and should stand a good shot of advancing to the live shows.
Aaron Gibson
The sole male vocalist on Cyrus' team, Aaron has performed just as strongly as Ali in his first three performances. His raspy vocals and John Mayer vibe will likely give him an edge with the Voice audience, which has traditionally gravitated toward this type of artist in the past. If he connects with the right song during the playoffs, he could emerge as a dark horse threat.
Belle Jewel
Quirky indie singer Belle has had the unfortunate distinction of being montaged twice, with viewers only getting to see her Knockout performance in full, singing "Don't Dream It's Over" by by Crowded House. Luckily, she delivered a strong yet vulnerable performance and was stolen by Cyrus. She could received a swell of underdog support assuming her playoff performance stands out from the others.
Sophia Urista
Sophia's spunky performances of The Beatles' "Come Together" for her Blind Audition and Pink Floyd's "Money" for her Battle gave viewers some much needed female rock. But her Knockout performance of "I Can't Stand the Rain" was montaged, so she may not have the momentum heading into the live shows unless she pulls off a true knockout performance.
Darby Walker
Darby was one of the artists showcased in The Voice preview show after the Olympics this summer, and has had a lot of screentime throughout the season. Her Florence Welch-style warble has made her a memorable artist, crystallizing with her "Shake It Out" Knockout performance. Cyrus also seems to like her a lot, which could save her if she doesn't get saved by America.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
