It appears that things aren't so perfect on the relationship front for former Bachelor stars ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, as the pair seem to have called off their wedding.

On an episode of the pair's new show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? The pair revealed that they had called off their wedding, though they were staying together otherwise, and the decision to postpone their planned nuptials was because Higgins believed things had moved too fast for them-and they needed to take some time to slow them down.

"I don't want to rush it...There's still things that we need to know. And I would rather do that now than get into...after a wedding and then, all of a sudden, sit down and be like, 'What the hell did we just do?'" he said. "I think this thing sped up real fast, and we haven't had a second the breathe. We both started to know each other. We were engaged. Like, it's weird. But now it's time not to rush anything else."

He quickly reassured his fiancee he wasn't ending things with her however, and that he just felt they needed more time to truly get to know one another better before they went off and tied the knot.

"I'm not leaving you. I'm not. Don't think that for a second," he said. "I feel like we have so much to figure out that it's hard for me at this point to really feel comfortable getting married."

The news isn't entirely shocking of course that the pair have postponed their wedding, since the show where they met doesn't have a very good track record with everlasting relationships. Only one other couple from the Bachelor franchise is still together who got engaged during their season finale-Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici. Jason Mesnick rejected his initial pick Melissa Rycroft for runner-up Molly Melaney and those two are also still together.

The Bachelorette has a better track record, with five couples from twelve seasons still together-Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, and JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers.
