When the news of Sons of Anarchy spin-off's Mayans MC hitting the small screens is confirmed, fans quickly hope to see Charlie Hunnam to reprise his role as Jax Teller. However, as the new television series would have a different angle after the death of the main protagonist.

In a podcast interview of Tom Arnold with the show's creator Kurt Sutter (via Nerdcore Movement), the 56-year-old producer revealed his plans for the upcoming spin-off to be the original series' second chapter. In fact, he always pictures Sons of Anarchy to have four parts.

But it would be on the present day following the death of Jax Teller. It has been said that if the first episode of Mayans MC ranks up, the show would be automatically moved to be a full season.

On the other hand, there is still hope for the fans of Charlie Hunnam as Sutter also revealed that the Sons of Anarchy spin-off will pick up where the first crime drama television series left off. This, too, will include Jax Teller's actions that left "a large body count" before he died in the season finale.

"We're going to play the reality of that last day and the events that happened with who he killed that day and the impact and perhaps the trickle down that may have had on Northern Cali," Sutter explained. "So it won't have a direct impact on the Mayans but we make reference to it in the pilot so that we play the reality of it."

Hence, there is still a possibility that Jax Teller would still be seen even in a cameo role. As a matter of fact, Charlie Hunnam himself teased that he could appear in Mayans MC. The Sons of Anarchy star even said that he would do anything to be in the show even if it means he needs to be brought back to life.

In an interview with TMZ, the 36-year-old Pacific Rim actor revealed that if people behind the upcoming Mayans MC will call him and wants him to do a dream sequence, he will definitely do it. He also added that he loves portraying Jax Teller's role, although, he knows that he is already dead in Sons of Anarchy.
