‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 7 To See Guest Star Darius Rucker As A Wanted Criminal
After Masi Oka announced his exit from "Hawaii Five-0," fans were upset as his character is a favorite but not all seems bleak as the ratings of the show have gone up and now a guest star is all set to appear in Season 7.
Singer Darius Rucker of "Hootie & the Blowfish" fame will be making a guest appearance in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, reports Spoilers Guide. He will be seen in the role of Desmond Gamal, a bomb maker who is wanted by the police for he was found to be connected with many attacks revolving around the Middle East. Gamal is a notorious criminal and the U.S. government has been chasing him for years. What makes him even more menacing is the fact that he was training ISIS and Boko Haram at the same time CIA was training rebels in Syria.
He recently shifted to Hawaii and someone underwent a lot of trouble in order to sneak him into the island. So, now that the wanted criminal is here, one expects McGarrett and his team to launch their mission and track him down, claims Entertainment Tonight. Gamal will be seen in Episode 18 in the current season but no official airing date has been announced regarding the same. So, the suspense is definitely higher and fans would be curious to watch the action and drama.
Notably, Season 7 of the CBS police procedural TV series has been focusing a good deal on characters and this is also one of the reasons it is drawing more viewers. The character-centric story is giving the audience deeper insights into the love life and family of the characters and thus, it would be interesting to watch how things eventually turn out in Gamal's case.
Though a guest star, it looks like his track will be full of twists and turns. His criminal history has ample material to arouse the curiosity of viewers. Of course, Masi Oka is not there any longer and Season 8 is also waiting to be renewed but fans can harbor hopes as "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 has shown a rise in ratings and the chances of another season are definitely brighter.
