‘Arrow’ Season 5 Update: EP Discusses Possibilities Of Katie Cassidy’s Official Return
Fans are now confused in the appearance of Katie Cassidy in "Arrow" Season 5. As her character as Laurel Lance was seen, viewers are now wondering if they would see more of the Black Canary in the upcoming episodes.
As the fans assumptions are growing strong, the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim talked about Laurel Lance appearance in future episodes of "Arrow" Season 5. The 46-year-old screenwriter revealed that they now have an idea how viewers will see her again in the television series.
However, Marc Guggenheim admitted that they haven't sealed a deal with Katie Cassidy to be once again part of "Arrow" Season 5. "She's not a series regular anymore, so we have to make a contract with her," he said.
Marc Guggenheim explained that Katie Cassidy must be available to film "Arrow" Season 5 and they haven't had the talk yet. "But we do have an idea. We know exactly what we do want to do," the television producer teased, Cinema Blend reported.
According to Comic Book, the Lance sisters have died a number of times but brought to life once again. In the previous season, Laurel Lance died because of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), but she is now seen in "Arrow" Season 5 as her Earth-2 doppelganger Black Siren.
Marc Guggenheim along with most of the Flarrowverse have often teased that Katie Cassidy will be once again seen as Laurel Lance/Black Canary in the show. Currently, there are some features and a number of timelines that the said character can be in "Arrow" Season 5.
"The Flash" and its move along with the multiverse theory deemed a possibility for Laurel Lance to be seen in "Arrow" Season 5. Off-camera, Katie Cassidy has been very kind; if the fans or the show's producers want her to be in the Flarrowverse sandbox, she will have no doubt and will definitely appear.
