'Riverdale' Is Recasting The Classic Character Actor: Ross Butler Replaced For 'Scheduling' Reason
After issues of scheduling, one of the "Riverdale" characters will be replaced. Apparently, the show is recasting the classic character for its upcoming season.
According to TV Line, Reggie, who is played by the actor Ross Butler, will be replaced in the show's second season. The 26-year-old star was forced to give up the part for scheduling reasons.
The "13 Reasons Why" actor, who played Reggie in the first season, will be "virtually unrecognizable" in Riverdale Season 2. "We want more Reggie on our show and because Ross is unavailable to come back to Riverdale, we're looking for a new Reggie," Roberto said. "Those are big shoes to fill, but we're confident we can find an actor who is as funny and sexy as Ross. And of course, we all wish Ross the best."
