The newest member of The Voice family kicked off Season 14 with a bang as the original American Idol champion grabbed five of the most prominent voices in the competition. However, did any of the veteran coaches crush Kelly Clarkson's chances of expanding her team by blocking her?

Audition #1: Christiana Danielle- "Hotline Bling"

Christiana Danielle, 22, kicked off the night. The daughter of a Christian rapper turned to music after a throat infection nearly took her voice away. For her Blind Audition, she decided to flip Drake's "Hotline Bling." Christiana showcased a beautiful jazz tone that caught the attention of Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys. Kelly Clarkson begged Christiana to join her team, while Adam wanted to be a positive light into her life. Meanwhile, Alicia visualized herself as Christiana's blueprint for her career and wanted to win with her. Christiana decided to work with Alicia.

Audition #2: Brett Hunter- "She's a Bad Mama Jama"

Brett Hunter, 30, left a great recruiting job to pursue his career in music. Thanks to his brother's sacrifices, he was able to chase his dream. Brett performed "She's A Bad Mama Jama" for his audition. His performance with the ukulele made his number memorable. He earned a place in Team Blake as Shelton was the only coach who turned for him.

Audition #3: Jamie-"U Got It Bad"

Longtime show host Carson Daly recruited singing telegram performer Jamie in New York City. He hoped that he could make both his mom and grandma proud as he sought to get a coach's attention. He performed former The Voice coach Usher's signature song: "U Got It Bad." Jamie would have made him proud. Jamie caught the attention of both Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys. Jamie decided to pick Alicia Keys as his coach.

Audition #4-Mia Boostrom: "PILLOWTALK"

Mia Boostrom looked to The Voice as a beacon of hope after she was constantly teased for being overweight and not her voice. In one Blind Audition performance, she brought blue-eyed soul into Zayn's "PILLOWTALK" and left her haters in the rearview mirror. Sadly, the only person who turned around for Mia was Adam Levine. The father of two was impressed with Mia's voice, while Alicia Keys loved the texture of Mia's voice.

Audition #5-Jackie Foster: "What About Us"

Jackie Foster's mother has been a fan of the NBC singing competition since the first season. The 21-year-old contestant worked her way from Berklee College of Music and took her musical journey all across the country. Foster brilliantly tackled P!nk's "What About Us" and her powerful vocal range caught the attention of P!nk's American Music Awards duet partner, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys. Kelly Clarkson loved her versatility, while Alicia was impressed her vocal tone. She decided to become the second girl to enlist in Team Kelly.

Audition #6-Reid Umstattd: "Take Me To The Pilot"

Austin, Texas native Reid Umstattd fell in love with music and performed in a band, but he got homesick and worked in his father-in-law's restaurant as a bartender. He gave his first solo performance of Sir Elton John's "Take Me to the Pilot" that caught the attention of both Adam Levine and Alicia Keys. Adam stated that Reid would win the show as a part of Team Adam and it was his love for Elton that made Reid enlist in Team Adam.

Audition #7-Jorge Eduardo: "Despacito"

Jorge Eduardo had the opportunity to perform on The Voice of Mexico. While he had the opportunity to reach the show's finale, he wanted to audition for the American version of the show. His confident cover of "Despacito" immediately caught the attention of Kelly Clarkson, who was dancing all around the Universal Studios Hollywood soundstage.

Audition #8-Austin Giorgio: "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)"

Austin Giorgio has great dance moves, but his father pushed him into Big Band and Jazz genres. The 21-year-old tackled Michael Buble's "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)." Austin was a real entertainer and worked the Universal Studios Hollywood soundstage. His performance caught the attention of both Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson. Blake stated that Austin reminded him so much of Michael Buble and used his connection to the "Haven't Met You Yet" crooner to get Austin enlisted on his team.

Audition #9: Johnny Bliss- "Preciosa"

The final Blind Audition of the night belonged to New York karaoke artist Johnny Bliss who delivered an incredible performance by singing Marc Anthony's "Preciosa." Bliss's performance marked the first time since Season 4 that the show saw an artist perform in Spanish. Johnny Bliss's booming voice immediately caught the attention of Adam Levine, who blocked Kelly Clarkson from making a pitch.

Kelly Clarkson was so sad when she turned around to see a giant red "Blocked" in her lane. With the "Since You've Been Gone" singer out of the race, Bliss had to choose between Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and Blake Shelton. The Maroon 5 frontman revealed that he blocked Kelly Clarkson because she would potentially enlist Johnny on her team. Adam passionately revealed that he wanted to be a part of Johnny's journey on the show. Alicia Keys bonded with Johnny citing their New York roots and even acknowledged their shared Puerto Rico heritage by singing "If I Ain't Got You" in Spanish and A cappella. Johnny decided to pick Alicia to be his coach.
