Wendy Williams Health Update: Is She Doing Well Amid Worrying Issues?
Wendy Williams is keeping her head high after facing issues in her personal and professional life.
Williams has been leaving fans worried and anxious about her health status as she has been out of the spotlight for a long time. She just lost her "The Wendy Williams Show" for good and started dealing with a financial battle with Wells Fargo.
As she keeps lying low, a source recently revealed her current health state to take fans' worries away.
In a statement to ET Online, an insider who reportedly saw Williams at Fresco by Scotto in New York City revealed that the talk show host was looking good during the outing. They also confirmed that she is planning to make a comeback on TV soon.
"The restaurant's co-owner, Rosanna Scotto, greeted Wendy warmly and people there were excited to see Wendy out. She seemed to be in great spirits and looked great. Outside the restaurant, fans were yelling, 'We love you, Wendy!'" the insider said.
Her public outing came after Sherri Shepherd said she would take over for Williams and launch a newly titled syndicated talk show.
She revealed in a statement that she plans to merge everything she loves in the new show, including pop culture, talk, comedy, and entertainment.
"The Wendy Williams Show" segments, including "Hot Topics," will reportedly be part of the transition.
Wendy Williams' Health Battle Explored
Williams first left the show last year before the season 13's production began. On September 9, "The Wendy Williams Show" announced that the original talk show host would sit out temporarily while dealing with health issues.
Two months later, she gave an update to fans, saying that she might not be able to return as soon as possible.
"I'm making progress but it's just one of those things that's taking longer than we expected. I'm a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I'm ready," she said.
Before Shepherd finally took over the position, the show welcomed several guests hosts, including Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Bevy Smith, and Terrence J.
Aside from her health issue, she is currently facing a financial battle after Wells Fargo freezes her bank accounts to ensure that Williams' financial well-being is managed amid her mental and physical health issues.
