Supernatural fans can rest assured that Castiel (Misha Collins) will be appearing in the sci-fi drama's season 9 premiere.

In the last few days there has been a flurry of rumors from fans who seemed to be under the impression that the fallen angel would not be featured in the season's inaugural episode.

Producer Jim Michaels took to Twitter on Wednesday to squash the rouge rumors.

"Castiel IS in 9.1 of #supernatural! The episode is titled 'I Think I am Gonna Like It Here.' #spnfamily," Michaels assured viewers.

The episode is set to pick up mere minutes after the end of last spring's "Sacrifice." Now completely human, Cas will have an entirely new set of problems to face. Oh, and the minor difficulty that comes with a host of fallen angels blaming him for their crash landing.

"Being human for the first time, he's really going into this without a net," said Executive producer Jeremy Carver in a new sneak peek video. "He's not going to be with the Winchesters, so he's not going to have his safety blanket as it were to lead him through this."

In the new promo (see below), Cas seems to be traveling with an unidentified woman as he deals with injuries, hunger, and, of course, laundry.

Find out how Cas copes with his new life when Supernatural returns to the CW on Oct. 8.
