America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel revealed which finalist he thinks will win the competition and which he wants to win.

America's Got Talent is down to the final six acts of the season: singer Cami Bradley, magician Collins Key, opera trio Forte, country singer Jimmy Rose, dancer/mime Kenichi Ebina and comedian Taylor Williamson. With half of the final six being singing acts, Mandel wrote in his Parade column Friday that a singer would probably win.

"I think America will probably vote a singer in," Mandel wrote, "just because it's easier for them to connect to, and just because the people who are actually voting don't always take into consideration the work that goes into the most inventive acts."

Mandel has been a big proponent of Ebina and Williamson over the course of the season, praising the originality of their ideas and performances. The judge wrote that he wants either one of them to win. He said Williamson "raised the bar" in terms of variety acts and great comedy, "which I think is seeing new heights this season.

"And then Kenichi brings great artistry," he added. "So if I were able to vote, I'd say one of those two should be the winner."

Mandel said singers only have to choose a song a sing for their performance "and that's it." While singers like Rose have talent, they don't compare to the originality of Ebina or the quick-wittedness of Williamson in the judge's opinion.

The final six acts will perform Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 9 p.m. on NBC. The winner will be crowned on Wednesday's finale.
