'The Real Housewives of New Jersey': Melissa Gorga Reveals How Joe Gorga Proposed, Why Their Marriage Is 'Hotter Than Ever' [EXCLUSIVE]
Melissa Gorga and hubby Joe Gorga claim their marriage is "hotter than ever."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple, who married in 2005, gushed about their relationship, with Melissa revealing new details about their "most romantic night" together.
"The night Joe asked me to marry him was the sexiest date we've been on," Melissa told EnStars at McDonald's New Mighty Wings launch in NYC on Sept. 15. "There were rose petals everywhere."
Joe continued to divulge about the big night. "I made her dinner. Penne all vodka, chicken catetori," he revealed.
Although he claims he "made it all" himself, Melissa begs to differ.
"He didn't make it. He ordered it from down the street. He put it in pots and pans and made it look like he made it," Melissa revealed.
Either way, the couple do agree on one thing: their marriage is "hotter than ever."
"For us and any couples out there, it is important to keep it fresh," said Melissa, who recently released her latest book Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage. "Continue to look good for your husband when he gets home. When he gets home, you shouldn't look like a raggedy old mess."
According to Joe, he loves when Melissa plays hard to get.
"Around the house, she puts these little tight spandex on. I'm always touching her, and she's like 'Stop!' She plays hard to get all the time," Joe said.
Melissa weighed in, adding: "I believe in playing hard to get. I flirt with him and make him think, maybe he's going to get it... maybe he's not. All of these things keep it fresh and sexy. You need to have fun and have playfulness."
