Two returning players and a loved one will face off on Redemption Island in episode 2 of Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
Galang Tribe: Aras Baskauskas, Colton Cumbie, Gervase Peterson, Kat Edorsson, Laura Boneham, Laura Morett, Monica Culpepper, Tina Wesson and Tyson Apostol
Tadhana Tribe: Brad Culpepper, Caleb Bankston, Ciera Eastin, Hayden Moss, John Cody, Katie Collins, Rachel Foulger and Vytas Baskauskas
Redemption Island Inhabitants: Candice Cody, Marissa Peterson and Rupert Boneham
In the upcoming second episode of the season, Marissa will join Candice and Rupert on Redemption Island after being voted out of the Tadhana tribe. Each tribe gathers on Redemption Island to watch the duel. The castaway comes in last place will be eliminated from the competition.
A clip from episode 2 features several members of the Galang tribe crying with relief that their loved ones were not voted out. Many of them also comforted Gervase, Marissa's uncle, who appeared as though he was in shock after seeing his niece get voted out of her tribe.
Other promo trailers for the episode feature Marissa competing in the duel with Candice and Rupert, indicating that Gervase will not take her place. The competition appears to involve the castaways carefully maneuvering discs through a metal structure.
If Rupert comes in last he will be eliminated from the game without actually being voted out, considering he took his wife Laura's place after she was voted out in episode 1.

As for who viewers can expect to be voted out next, the Tandang tribe appears to have five strong guys willing to vote out the remaining girls. Assuming this strategy continues, Ciera, Katie or Rachel will likely be the next to go. On Galang, Laura B. is the odd person out since she's a loved one instead of a returning player. The plot synopsis for the episode states that a new alliance of returning players may target "one of their own," indicating that Laura B. may be safe.
Survivor: Blood vs. Water airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
