'Survivor: Blood vs. Water' Spoilers: New CBS PHOTOS Reveal Fates of Colton & Tyson? [VIDEO]
Promotional photos for the next episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water may have inadvertently spoiled the fate of one of the castaways.
Returning player Colton Cumbie was seen in last week's "Next time on Survivor" clip package crying and jumping into the lap of fiancé Caleb Bankston. Host Jeff Probst then asked Cumbie if he wanted to quit the game.
Though the clip did not reveal what Cumbie's final decision would be, the show released a few promotional photos of the next Immunity Challenge, potentially spoiling his decision.
The photos feature the tribes facing off one-on-one in a sumo-style match, with each player armed with a padded duffel bag hoping to knock their opponent off and into the water. Since the returning players tribe have two extra members over the loved ones tribe, that would mean that two extra members would have to sit out.
However, the photo only shows Monica Culpepper sitting out of the challenge, indicating that they only have one extra player. This suggests that Cumbie does indeed quit the game before the challenge.
The episode's other big mystery is whether or not returning player Tyson Apostol takes girlfriend Rachel Foulger's place on Redemption Island. The Immunity Challenge photos also spoil this as Apostol is seen with his tribe on the sidelines, proving that he is not on Redemption Island.
Though it is possible that the victor(s) on Redemption Island will return to the game, it is unlikely since it is still very early in the game.
What's left uncertain is who will be voted out at the end of the episode. If the loved ones lose another Immunity Challenge then the two remaining girls will likely be the targets. If the returning players tribe loses, then one of Kat Edorsson, Laura Boneham or Laura Morett will likely be the ones going since they are not in the majority alliance.
Survivor: Blood vs. Water airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
