'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Spoilers: Spencer Strikes Back at 'A' in Halloween Episode? [VIDEO]
Pretty Little Liars stars Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell recently previewed what viewers can expect from next Tuesday's Halloween episode.
Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings in the ABC Family show, revealed that the girls will be chasing Red Coat in the Halloween special.
"The girls are now chasing Red Coat and Red Coat has led them to Ravenswood. We know the closer we get to Ali, the more dangerous it becomes with 'A' and so that's what gives ground to these massive fight sequences and big action sequences," Bellisario revealed. "'A' is not playing a game anymore. It's really life or death."
The actress also revealed that Spencer will have a big moment in the Halloween episode.
"Spencer's getting scared and backed into a corner and is 'A' gonna kill her? And then she just kind of turns around and picks up the garden shears and is like, 'Let's do this,'" she teased.
Mitchell, who plays Emily Fields in the show, said that the Halloween episode is something she and the cast get excited for each season. She explained that every episode feels like a small feature film considering the amount of action, and the Halloween goes above and beyond that.
"The storylines are always getting amped up . . . so the Halloween episode is sort of like the cherry on top for the season, where it's like that little bit more goes into the set, a little bit more goes into our costumes," Mitchell said.
The Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars, titled Grave New World, airs Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
